Abschied vom Museum

Heute ist mein vorletzter Tag im Museum of Jewish Heritage. Zum 1. April habe ich gekuendigt und hoffe, dass dies die richtige Entscheidung war. Nach zwei Jahren hatte ich das Gefuehl, dass ich hier nicht weiter komme, und da meine Position nach meinem Abschied eliminiert wird, da kein Geld dafuer da ist, ist das wohl ein Zeichen fuer die Zukunft. Ausser mir sagen auch zwei weitere Kollegen Goodbye MJH am Freitag wird dieser Abschied auch "gefeiert". Meine kreative Kollegin Deb, die unter anderem diese, diese, und diese, und natuerlich diese Website erstellt hat, organisiert einen Abschiedtrunk, zu dem sie folgenden Text verfasst hat (nach der Melodie von Dion DiMuccis Abraham, Martin, & John)

Has anybody here seen my old friend Ilana?

She was sassy and funny and wrote MJH’s curriculum,
But I just looked around and she's gone.

She started as an HSAPAnd grew up with the Museum

Has anybody here seen my old friend Julian?
Can you tell me where he's gone?
His English sometimes caused bloopers
But his vast knowledge could be depend on.

Didn't you have a laugh with them?
At all those seasonal office parties?
Didn’t you all do karaoke?
And shake your shimmy?
